Our Sampling Program:

For program participants, a soil sample will be collected for every field in the program to determine soil type. We will use the cation exchange capacity or (CEC), obtained from the soil report to determine the amount of clay contained in each field in the program. Each soil will be grouped according to CEC, so that similar soils are compared when analyzing the data.

Statistical Advantages:

We have collected over 120,000 acres of data since 1998. With these numbers of acres we will be able to compare your farm with farms like yours and exponentially increase the amount of knowledge gained in a single growing season.
